One response to “Tension (1949)”
Richard Basehart, a fine actor, couldn’t elevate one the worst “noir” scripts ever produced. I love noir films, many with silly or incomprehensible plots, but “Tension” takes the cake. MGM, trying to cash in on low budget RKO and Fox’s successes, of that period didn’t have a clue. See “He Walked by Night,” Call Northside 777,” “Double Indemnity,” even “Quicksand”. editor terry at America O L
