Percolator app – teaser page
A teaser page design for Percolator, an iPhone/iPad app that transforms photos into mosaics.
I was hired to create an atmosphere like in 1950s magazine advertisements. To evoke that atmosphere I eventually used seven different typefaces, much more than I ever used for one design before.
This was fun to do, but it was a tough nut to crack: a puzzle of elements I had to reorder hundreds of times before they finally fit.
